The Metal Seated Ball Valve utilizes a metal-to-metal sealing mode between the ball and seat. Depending on the service conditions and user requirements, various advanced hardening technologies are employed for the ball and seat, including HVOF coating, nickel-base alloy spray welding, high nickel alloy spray welding, nickel-base alloy tungsten carbide spray welding, and cobalt-base hard alloy spray welding. These materials offer excellent heat resistance, with sealing face temperatures reaching up to 540°C to 600°C, and can withstand a maximum temperature of up to 980°C. Additionally, they exhibit good wear and impact resistance.
The valve's seat is constructed from stainless steel with stellite alloy pile-up welding, while the ball is made from stainless steel, treated with surface techniques such as hard chrome plating, vacuum coating, tungsten-titanium alloy, and stellite alloy pile-up welding to meet heat and wear resistance requirements. The ball manufacturing process ensures high-accuracy and super-mirror surface finishes for the ball.
An integral feature of this valve is its spring-preloaded seat, which guarantees reliable sealing and stable operating torque. This design ensures absolute safety, sealing reliability, and operational flexibility, making the valve easy to maintain and operate.
