The metal-seated ball valve features a metal-to-metal sealing design between the ball and seat. To meet varying service conditions and user requirements, a range of advanced hardening technologies are available for the ball and seat, including HVOF coating, nickel-based alloy spray welding, high nickel alloy spray welding, nickel-based tungsten carbide alloy spray welding, and cobalt-based hard alloy spray welding. The sealing face material offers impressive heat resistance, ranging from 540°C to 600°C, with a maximum tolerance of up to 980°C. It also provides excellent wear and impact resistance.
The valve seat is made of stainless steel, with stellite alloy overlay welding, ensuring durability. The ball is constructed from stainless steel, treated with three surface techniques: hard chrome plating, vacuum coating, and tungsten-titanium alloy and stellite alloy overlay welding, to meet heat and wear resistance requirements. KOSEN’s innovative ball manufacturing process ensures high accuracy and a super-mirror surface finish, enhancing performance.
Additionally, the metal-seated ball valve includes a spring-loaded pre-pressing seat, which guarantees absolute sealing reliability and stable operating torque.
