The pressure seal globe valves are designed in accordance with BS 1873 and ASME B16.34 standards for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. These valves are widely used in fossil fuel power plants. Compared to bolted bonnet joint valves, they provide reliable sealing of the bonnet joint, making pressure seal valves more compact, rigid, and cost-effective for maintenance in high-temperature and high-pressure environments.
The two openings for medium flow in and out are aligned in the same direction, forming an angle of 180°. Additionally, the seat and disc seal surfaces are overlaid with iron-based alloys, cobalt-based alloys, or carbide alloys for extended service life. For larger valves, the design incorporates both a main and a vice disc, with medium flowing from the upper disc to the lower disc. This configuration significantly reduces operating torque and improves the reliability of seat tightness performance.
