The Wafer Single Disc Check Valve is designed to automatically prevent backflow in piping systems. The valve disc opens when upstream pressure exceeds downstream pressure, allowing flow from the inlet to the outlet. When the pressure on the inlet side drops below that of the outlet, the disc closes automatically due to fluid pressure, gravity, and other forces, effectively preventing reverse flow. This valve can be installed in both horizontal and vertical orientations; for vertical installations, ensure the flow direction is from bottom to top. Always confirm the correct flow direction during installation.
