The metal-seated ball valve features a metal-to-metal sealing mechanism between the ball and seat. Advanced hardening technologies, such as HVOF coating, nickel-based alloy spray welding, high-nickel alloy spray welding, tungsten carbide alloy spray welding, and cobalt-based hard alloy spray welding, can be applied based on specific service conditions and user needs. These techniques enable the sealing material to endure temperatures from 540°C to 980°C while delivering exceptional wear and impact resistance.
The seat is crafted from stainless steel with a stellite alloy overlay, while the ball, also stainless steel, undergoes treatments like hard chrome plating, vacuum coating, tungsten-titanium alloy application, or stellite alloy overlay welding.
