Through Conduit Slab Gate Valves are designed with a full-bore port, rising stem OS&Y, and feature floating seats and a pressure-energized gate for bubble-tight shutoff, ensuring reliable sealing both upstream and downstream under low and high differential pressures. These valves offer double block-and-bleed capabilities and automatic relief of excess body pressure as standard, enhancing safety and performance. The smooth, continuous bore minimizes turbulence and, when open, results in a pressure drop comparable to that of a section of pipe with the same length and diameter. The seat faces are positioned outside the flow stream, protecting them from erosive flow action. Additionally, pigs and scrapers can pass through the valve without causing damage.
