Slab Through Conduit Gate Valves are designed with a full-bore port, rising stem OS&Y, and floating, pressure-energized seats and gate for a bubble-tight shutoff in both low and high differential pressure conditions. These valves feature double block and bleed capability and automatic relief of excess body pressure. The smooth, continuous bore minimizes turbulence and, when the valve is open, offers a pressure drop similar to that of a pipe of the same length and diameter. With seat faces positioned outside the flow stream, they are protected from erosive flow action. Additionally, pigs and scrapers can pass through the valve without causing damage.
