Slab Through Conduit Gate Valves are manufactured with a full-bore port, rising stem OS&Y (Outside Stem and Yoke), and feature floating seats and gates that are pressure-energized. This design ensures bubble-tight shut-off both upstream and downstream, even under low and high differential pressures. The valves offer double block and bleed capability, along with automatic relief of excess body pressure, as standard features.

The smooth, continuous bore minimizes turbulence within the valve. When fully open, the valve produces a pressure drop equivalent to that of a section of pipe with the same length and diameter. The seat faces are positioned outside the flow stream, protecting them from erosive action. This design also allows pigs and scrapers to pass through the valve without causing damage.
