The Pneumatic Segment Ball Valve features a robust ASTM A351 CF8 cast stainless steel body, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. It has a DN100 (4-inch) size with a PN16 (Class 150 LB) pressure rating, making it suitable for various industrial applications. The valve is equipped with a precision positioner for accurate control and is designed with a raised face (RF) connection type. This high-quality valve offers reliable performance and precise control in pneumatic systems, making it an ideal choice for demanding industrial environments.

The Segment Ball Valve is primarily designed for flow control and can also be used for shut-off operations. The notched port on the segment ball contributes to strong shear stress, enabling it to cut through media containing fibers and particles. This makes the Segment Ball Valve an ideal general control valve (with an equal percentage flow characteristic) for most pulp and paper process applications, as well as other flows containing fibers and particles. A V-port ball valve features either a 'V' shaped ball or a 'V' shaped seat, which allows for more controlled opening and closing of the orifice, resulting in a flow characteristic closer to linear. When the valve is in the closed position and begins to open, the small end of the 'V' opens first, allowing for stable flow control. This design typically requires a more robust construction due to the higher velocities of the fluids, which could potentially damage a standard valve.
