Slab Through Conduit Gate Valves are manufactured with a full-bore port, rising stem OS&Y, and floating seats and gate that are pressure-energized for bubble-tight shutoff upstream and downstream under both low and high differential pressure. Double block-and-bleed capability and automatic relief of excess body pressure are standard features of this seat design.
The smooth, continuous bore minimizes turbulence within the valve and, when fully open, produces a pressure drop equivalent to a section of pipe of the same length and diameter. The seat faces are located outside the flow stream, protecting them from the erosive action of the flow. Pigs and scrapers can pass through the valve without causing damage.

» The valve seat uses an O-ring seal and a floating valve seat structure with pre-tension force, enabling bidirectional sealing of the inlet and outlet of the flat gate valve. The opening and closing torque of this design is only half that of ordinary valves, allowing easy operation.
» When fully open, the channel is smooth and linear, with a very low flow resistance coefficient and negligible pressure loss. It can be cleaned by passing a cleaning ball through the pipeline.
» The valve adopts a self-sealing packing structure that requires minimal adjustment. Opening and closing are extremely light, with reliable sealing performance. The packing box is equipped with an auxiliary grease injection system, ensuring absolute sealing and effectively preventing the most common leakage at the packing of standard valves.
» When the flat gate valve is closed, it can automatically release high pressure inside the chamber, ensuring safe operation.
