Operation: Bevel Gear
The pressure seal globe valves are designed in accordance with BS1873 and ASME B16.34, making them suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. They are widely used in fossil fuel power plants. Compared to bolted bonnet joint valves, these pressure seal valves offer absolute reliability in bonnet joint sealing. This design makes the valves more compact, rigid, and cost-effective for maintenance, especially in high-temperature and high-pressure services.
The two openings for medium flow are aligned in the same direction, forming a 180° angle. The seat and disc seal surfaces are overlaid with iron-based alloy, cobalt-based alloy, or carbide alloy for enhanced durability. For larger size valves, a main disc and secondary disc design is employed. The medium flows from the upper disc to the lower disc, significantly reducing the operating torque and ensuring more reliable seat tightness.
