Through Conduit Slab Gate Valves are designed with a full-bore port, rising stem OS&Y, and pressure-energized floating seats and gate, ensuring a bubble-tight shutoff both upstream and downstream under varying differential pressures. These valves feature double block and bleed capability, along with automatic relief of excess body pressure, as standard components of the seat design. The smooth, continuous bore minimizes turbulence, and when open, the valve creates a pressure drop equivalent to that of a pipe segment with the same length and diameter. Additionally, the seat faces are positioned outside the flow stream, protecting them from erosive wear. Pigs and scrapers can pass through the valve without causing damage.
