The maintenance-free compact cross seal with a double-seal lip profile ensures a tight shutoff and allows adjustment without interrupting operation. A self-cleaning effect is achieved through flush-out corners in the body and a cutting edge beneath the gate, which slices through solids and fibers before sealing against the elastic seat.
The gate's interrupted guidance along the stroke length enables dirt ejection, while bidirectional shutoff is ensured by the lateral gate surfaces and the integrated, pre-stressed chambered seat. The high-finish guide and sealing surfaces on both sides enhance durability and sealing performance. Additionally, lateral gate guidance prevents fluttering in both flow directions and throttle positions, ensuring stable operation.
