The Forged Y Strainer features a simple structure, low flow resistance, and easy maintenance. It is typically installed at the inlet of various pipelines and equipment to filter out impurities from the medium, thereby protecting valves, pumps, and other downstream components. This forged steel Y-type strainer adopts a bolted bonnet design, with a secure connection between the valve body and bonnet using bolts and a spiral wound gasket (304 stainless steel + flexible graphite) or a metal ring joint gasket for enhanced sealing performance. The standard screen mesh for water applications is 18–30 mesh per inch. Custom mesh sizes are available upon request to meet specific application requirements.
