The VF series pinch valve is an air-operated, flanged valve designed to isolate and regulate abrasive, corrosive, and fibrous media. It provides 100% leak-tight closure and free, unobstructed flow through its straight-through bore. The valve has no mechanical moving parts. It relies on compressed air or fluid (with a minimum differential pressure of 2 bar) injected directly into the valve body. This pressure forces the internal reinforced rubber sleeve (liner) to collapse inward, closing in the same elliptical "lip" shape every time to safely shut off the flow. When the air pressure is exhausted, the sleeve's natural elasticity pops it back open to a full-bore circular state.
