The heavy-duty load valve, suitable for both normal and extremely challenging operating conditions, has effectively met its goals by reducing noise, enhancing air defense, decreasing pressure in multiple stages, and strengthening anti-cavitation capabilities. This valve is specifically designed to handle high differential pressures across various operational modes by implementing a variety of plan combinations. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of -196°C to +538°C, and with a balanced seal ring, it can extend to a range of -198°C to +538°C.
The Labyrinth Cage Type Control Valve features a unique flow channel design within its labyrinth gasket, which allows it to establish flow rate characteristics that are either approximately equal percentage or approximately linear.
The labyrinth valve cage is engineered to manage cavitation by controlling the area and intensity of fluid flow, preventing air bubble implosion away from the metal surfaces. This design significantly reduces damage to the valve trim caused by cavitation, effectively achieves throttling, and ensures a gradual reduction in pressure by maintaining low flow speeds through multiple layers. Consequently, it minimizes noise, pressure, and cavitation, extending the valve trim's service life and mitigating the impact of flash vaporization.
The modular design of the valve ensures compatibility with standard valve trims, and for applications requiring higher leakage control, an unbalanced plug can be utilized.
Bonnet Types:
1. Standard Bonnet:
This standard type seals the valve body and connects it to the actuator.
Suitable for temperatures ranging from -20°C to +230°C.
2. Long-Extension Bonnet:
Designed for cryogenic services with a temperature range from -196°C to +538°C.
It effectively protects the packing and actuator and is made from low-temperature materials that can withstand impact and varying temperature conditions.
3. Fin-Extension Bonnet:
Designed for high-temperature applications.
Made from special materials capable of withstanding temperatures up to 750°C.
4. Bellows Bonnet:
Used in scenarios where any leakage around the stem is unacceptable, such as with flammable, toxic, explosive, radioactive, or highly reactive fluids.
Also ideal for use under vacuum conditions to prevent leakage and protect sensitive padding materials.
