Product Name: Electric Segment Ball Valve
Body Material: ASTM A216 WCB
Size: Customized
Pressure: Class 150 LB, PN16
End Connection: RF Flanged
Operation: Electric
The Segment Ball Valve is engineered primarily for flow control but can also perform shut-off functions effectively. Its notched port on the segment ball generates strong shear stress, enabling it to handle media containing fibers and particles. This makes it ideal for pulp and paper applications or other processes involving flow with similar characteristics. Featuring an equal percentage flow characteristic, this valve ensures precise and reliable performance.
A V-port ball valve design, with either a "V"-shaped ball or seat, allows controlled orifice opening and closing, providing near-linear flow characteristics. The small end of the "V" opens first during operation, enabling stable flow control from the start. To handle higher fluid velocities, the valve is built with a robust construction, minimizing wear and damage over time.
