When the valve is open, the fluid's resultant force acts directly on the center of the disc's sealing face. Simultaneously, the counter spring support force is applied at the center of the disc surface. This unique arrangement allows the disc to open from its root first, reducing wear on the sealing surface compared to conventional valves. As a result, the durability of the valve seal is significantly enhanced. The wafer check valve operates automatically, opening and closing based on the flow of the medium, and is specifically designed to prevent reverse flow.
