Product Name: Pressure Seal Tilting Disc Check Valve
Design Standard: ASME B16.34
Body Material: ASTM A216 WCB
Size: 12 Inch, DN300
Pressure: Class 1500 LB, PN250
End Connection: RTJ
The disc of a tilting disc check valve is pivoted at the center, and it is designed to address the limitations of traditional swing check valves. Unlike swing check valves, the tilting disc check valve can remain fully open and stable at lower flow rates. This means that a swing check valve requires a higher fluid velocity to keep the disc open and a higher cracking pressure. In contrast, the pressure drop in a tilting disc check valve is significantly lower than that of a swing check valve in low-pressure situations. However, at higher flow rates, the tilting disc check valve experiences a higher pressure drop compared to the swing type.

Features of Tilting Disc Check Valve
» When closed, the valve makes slow, impact-free contact with the sealing surface, ensuring no noise.
» Micro-elastic metal seats provide excellent sealing performance.
» Butterfly disc design allows for quick opening and closing, contributing to a long service life.
» The tilting disc structure ensures a streamlined fluid passage with low flow resistance, delivering superior energy efficiency.
