The Fully Welded Ball Valve, also known as the Welded Body Ball Valve, features a robust, completely welded body designed for exceptional durability. These valves are primarily used as stop or shutoff valves in diverse systems, such as water and gas supply, heat-power engineering, housing and communal services, as well as in chemical, oil-refining, and pulp-and-paper industries.
The materials used in the manufacturing process undergo strict ultrasonic testing per ASME nondestructive flaw detection standards to ensure high quality and reliability. The connection face’s welding slope is further tested using liquid penetration methods for added quality assurance. A corrosion allowance is incorporated into the body wall thickness for enhanced protection in demanding environments.
Key components, such as the carbon steel stem, fixed shaft, ball, seat, and seat ring, are chemically nickel-plated in accordance with ASTM B733 and B656 standards. A variety of corrosion-resistant materials are available to meet specific application needs. Valve materials can be selected according to NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156 or NACE MR 0103 standards for environments prone to sulfurization. Strict quality control processes ensure these valves meet industry standards and performance requirements.
