This API 6A Swing Check Valve is designed and manufactured in full compliance with API Spec 6A standards for wellhead and Christmas tree equipment. This valve is a type of check valve that relies on the pressure of the working medium to achieve metal-to-metal sealing between the core and the body (seat). The sealing performance improves with higher medium pressure, ensuring reliable operation under pipeline pressure within the valve cavity.
