It features a needle-shaped valve plug that allows gradual and continuous changes in the valve opening. This enables the valve to be finely adjusted from a closed position to a larger opening. The needle valve plug is typically made of quenched steel long needles, while the valve seats are made from softer materials like tin or copper. The sealing between the stainless steel SS-1RS8 Needle Valve and the valve seat is achieved through a tight fit of the conical surfaces. The valve needle taper is available in two types: 1:50 and 1:60 cone angles, with the conical surfaces finely ground for precision sealing. Sealing between the valve stem and the valve seat is maintained by corrugated pipes.
