Cast Steel Globe Valves are meticulously designed and manufactured to achieve ultra-low emissions, with a stringent target of less than 100 ppm (parts per million) of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). To ensure this level of performance, extensive baseline laboratory testing, encompassing both static and cycle testing, has been conducted. This rigorous testing process has established the critical design parameters required for achieving low-emission sealing in the stem packing seal area and the bonnet gasket sealing area. Furthermore, an in-house testing procedure has been developed and is periodically executed. This procedure guarantees that our standard product design and manufacturing criteria consistently result in Cast Steel Globe Valves that meet the maximum VOC leakage limit of 100 ppm prior to shipment.
