The pressure seal globe valves are engineered in compliance with BS 1873 and ASME B16.34 standards, designed for high-temperature and high-pressure service. These valves are commonly used in fossil fuel power plants. Unlike bolted bonnet joint valves, pressure seal valves offer a more reliable sealing of the bonnet joint, making them more compact, rigid, and cost-effective for maintenance in high-temperature and high-pressure environments.
The valve features two openings for the medium to flow in and out in the same direction, forming an angle of 180°. Both the seat and disc sealing surfaces are overlayed with iron-base alloys, Co-base alloys, or carbide alloys to ensure extended service life. For large-size valves, a main disc and vice disc design is employed, with the medium flowing from the upper disc to the lower disc. This design significantly reduces operating torque while enhancing seat tightness and ensuring more reliable sealing performance.
