ASME B16.36 orifice flange is installed between two pipes. Orifice flange is used as detector to measure glow of liquid, gas, and steam. The orifice plate has a sheet metal with circular holes. The walls of circular holes are vertical to the face of metal sheet. Axis of metal sheet in concentric to axis of pipe when installing orifice flange. Orifice flange is widely used in power, gas, petroleum, heating, etc.
