Product Name: V Port Segment Ball Valve
Body Material: ASTM A216 WCB
Size: 10 Inch, DN250
Pressure: Class 150 LB, PN16
End Connection: Flanged
Operation: Bare Shaft
The Segment Ball Valve is designed primarily for precise flow control and can also be used for shut-off operations. Its unique notched port provides strong shear stress, making it ideal for handling media containing fibers and particles. This feature allows the valve to efficiently cut through such media, making it a suitable choice for pulp and paper processes or any application involving fibrous or particulate-laden fluids. The V-port design, with either a V-shaped ball or seat, provides a more controlled opening and closing action, resulting in a closer-to-linear flow characteristic. The design ensures that the smallest end of the "V" opens first, enabling stable flow control from the start of the valve’s opening. Due to the high fluid velocities involved, the valve construction is robust, offering durability in demanding conditions where standard valves may fail.
