Universal Cast Steel Check Valves are designed and manufactured to strict international standards, including API 6D, BS 1868, and ASME B16.34, ensuring low flow resistance and minimal pressure drop. These valves are suitable for installation in horizontal pipelines only. The valve's seat ring is lapped and screwed for tight shutoff and long service life. The disc is meticulously designed and guided for efficient automatic closure at zero pressure, offering a compact structure and low-emission service. In its standard configuration, the swing check valve features a bolted cover and a free-swinging clapper, which responds to flow conditions to close the valve. While best suited for horizontal installations, for heavier disc weights or to prevent chattering, dampers or counterweights may be added.

Product Features
» Backflow Prevention: Cast steel swing check valves are designed to prevent backflow in the pipeline. The media flows through the valve in a straight line, ensuring minimal pressure drop.
» Self-Operated Disc: The disc swings into the open position when the media flows through the line, and back pressure holds the disc in the closed position.
» Flexible Installation: These valves can be installed in both horizontal and vertical lines, provided they are oriented according to the media flow direction, as indicated by the flow direction arrow on the body.
» Customizable Accessories: A range of accessories, including bypasses, locking devices, counterweights, and more, are available to meet specific customer requirements.
