Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Valves provide double isolation by incorporating two obturators within a single body. These valves feature a bleed/vent system between the obturators (body port and ball, gate, or needle valve), allowing for effective fluid drainage and preventing accidental leaks. DBB ball valves enable shutoff of a pipe section from both sides, ensuring safety in environments such as the oil and gas industry, where preventing leaks is critical.
