Stainless steel pipes are designed for high-temperature applications, incorporating alloying elements like Nickel and Chromium into the steel to enhance its corrosion resistance in harsh environments. This combination makes stainless steel ideal for use in challenging applications, ensuring durability and reliability.
Product Types
Stainless steel is generally defined by the presence of at least 10.5% chromium in the alloy. The most common types include Austenitic Stainless Steel, particularly the 300 series chromium-nickel alloys such as 304, 310S, 316, 321, 347, and others. Grade 304/304L is the most widely used stainless steel for corrosive applications. Other grades in the 300 series improve upon the basic features of SS304. We offer Seamless or Welded stainless steel pipes or tubes according to various standards, including ASTM A312, ASTM A213, ASTM A269, ASTM AB676, ASTM B677, and others. Major grades include TP304, TP304L, TP310S, TP316, TP316L, 316Ti, TP317, TP317L, TP321, TP347, TP347H, S31254, N08367, N08926, and N08904, each offering specific chemical compositions and mechanical properties tailored for various applications.
Product Usage
» ASTM A312: Used for high-temperature and general corrosive applications in seamless, welded, and heavy cold-worked austenitic stainless steel pipes.
» ASTM A213: Covers seamless ferric carbon steel and austenitic alloy stainless steel tubes, primarily used in boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers.
» ASTM A269: Intended for general-use stainless tubing in both seamless and welded forms.
» ASME SB677: Designed for extremely corrosive environments, covering materials like UNS N08904 (904L), UNS N08925, and UNS N08926 (Alloy 926) in seamless, cold-drawn, and hot-finished steel pipes and tubes.
