Product Name: ASTM A352 LCC Tilting Disc Check Valve
Design Standard: ASME B16.34
Body Material: ASTM A352 LCC
Size: 8 Inch, DN200
Pressure: Class 2500 LB, PN420
End Connection: RTJ Flanged
The tilting disc check valve features a pivot point at the center of the disc, offering improved performance compared to the traditional swing check valve. Unlike the swing valve, which requires higher fluid velocities to keep the disc open and has a higher cracking pressure, the tilting disc check valve remains fully open and stable at lower flow rates. This results in a much lower pressure drop under low-pressure conditions. However, at higher flow rates, the tilting disc check valve experiences a higher pressure drop compared to the swing type, making it less efficient in high-velocity situations.
