Cast Steel Globe Valves are designed and manufactured to ensure leakage of less than 100 ppm (parts per million) of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Extensive baseline laboratory testing, including static and cycle testing, has been conducted to establish the critical design parameters required for low-emission sealing in both the stem packing and bonnet gasket areas. An in-house testing procedure has been developed and is performed periodically to ensure that standard product design and manufacturing consistently achieve a maximum VOC leakage of 100 ppm prior to shipment.
