The Elastic Seat Ring Sealed Eccentric Plug Valve is an innovative valve design that bridges the gap between traditional plunger valves and ball valves. It is particularly suited for applications involving large-diameter pipelines (above DN200) and environments with muddy water or sludge. Thanks to its superior sealing and corrosion resistance, it offers low opening/closing torque, minimal water-flow loss, and an extended service life. This makes it an ideal choice for regulating or closing operations in urban sewage, industrial sewage, sludge, and clear water systems.

Working Principle
The Elastic Seat Sealed Eccentric Plug Valve operates through a combination of advanced design features that ensure high performance and reliability. The valve's elastic seat sealed eccentric structure and crank cock provide the necessary strength to handle high pressure and torque transmission. This design also maximizes the flow area by strategically positioning the fully-opened valve passageway to avoid obstructions.
The rubber used for surface coating undergoes a heat vulcanization molding process. This ensures a strong bond between the rubber and the internal iron core, resulting in a smooth exterior surface and precise sealing dimensions. This process enhances the valve's corrosion resistance, extends its service life, and improves the reliability and interchangeability of the sealing components.
The valve seat is coated with a corrosion-resistant alloy, which minimizes the contact area of the sealing face. The design also incorporates a certain eccentricity in the center of the cock sealing face, ensuring zero leakage and reducing the operating torque required to open and close the valve. This feature prolongs the valve's service life.
When used as a regulator, the rectangular flow section of the valve provides a proper linear regulating property, allowing for precise control of fluid flow.
The opening and closing of the valve are achieved through the eccentric motion of the cock and valve body. The design includes an eccentricity between the cock and valve body, as well as between the valve seat on the body and the gyration center of the cock body. When the cock body is rotated 90 degrees from the fully-opened to the fully-closed position, the sealing face of the cock body aligns with the seat, providing a secure seal.
