A BS 6364 gate valve is a highly specialized linear-motion isolation valve engineered, manufactured, and impact-tested to ensure cryogenic structural integrity down to -196 °C. Conforming strictly to the British Standard BS 6364, this valve features an extended bonnet column that positions the stem packing gland away from the ultra-cold process fluid, creating a vapor barrier that prevents the packing from freezing and losing its seal.
