Swing Check Valve

A swing check valve is a self-automated inline valve that uses a hinged disk to permit forward fluid flow and automatically block reverse flow without external intervention. Operating purely on media pressure, the disk swings open once the upstream pressure exceeds the minimum "cracking pressure" and seals tight against backpressure to prevent pipeline contamination or equipment damage. These versatile valves can be installed horizontally or vertically (upward flow) and are built from durable cast, carbon, or stainless steel to handle large-diameter, high-flow industrial applications like water treatment, refining, and power generation.
