Twin Seal Orbit Valve features a unique design that ensures efficient operation. When the valve is fully open, the plug’s channel aligns perfectly with the valve body’s channel, minimizing pressure loss. Rotating the handwheel moves the plug toward the valve, simultaneously rotating the valve disc 90 degrees. As the handwheel continues to rotate, the plug is pressed downward, causing both sides of the valve to open, and the valve disc presses tightly against the valve seat to close. Rotating the handwheel in the opposite direction causes the plug to lift, releasing the valve disc from the seat. Continued rotation of the handwheel rotates the valve disc 90 degrees, realigning the plug’s channel with the valve body’s channel to return the valve to the fully open position.
