Detail Information

The outline of carbon steel threaded flange is similar to slip flange. However the bore of threaded flange is thread which is different from slip-on flange, enabling assembly without welding. Threaded flange can be only used under relatively low pressure piping systems. Threaded flange cannot be used under high pressure although it may be welded around the joint after assembly.

 

Standard: API 650, API 6A, API 600, ASME B16.5
