Compared with slip-on flange or welding neck flange, ANSI B16.5 threaded flange is more convenient for installation and maintenance. Threaded flange can realize connection between pipes without welding. ANSI B16.5 threaded flange can be only used under low pressure. And the flange can not be used if the temperature on pipes varies sharply.
