Hengli Mould is Expected to Exceed 10 Billion RMB

Five years ago, Hengli decided to develop mold industry to the biggest extent. It focus on attracting investment and cultivating promising enterprises. Now in 2014, Hengli mold industry has become a pillar field in this region.

In July 2014, Hengli held Work Session on Giant Leap from “Famous Mold Town” to “Powerful Mold Town”. It is known that, Hengli will constantly reinforce construction together with Innovation Center. It aims to motive enterprises’ initiative and upgrading their capability of independent innovation. It strives to accelerate alliance of Dongguan 3D printing industry, and promote technoloy innovation alliance of Guangdong automobile mould and parts industry.

In the first half of 2014, Hengli earned a mould industry output value of 3.86 billion RMB, growing by 20.1% compared with 2013. It is estimated to reach 8.5 billion RMB by the end of 2014. The growth rate is estimated to exceed 20%. Mould industry is a critical power for the economic development of Hengli.

Luo Baihui, the general secretary of International Mould & Metal Plastic Industry Suppliers Association, introduced that Hengli will hold onto mould indsutry during the 12th Five-year-plan period. Investment and cultivation is still the main focus of work. Mould industry is expected to achieve and even surpass 10 billion RMB, with over 20% of growth rate in 2015. Thus the plan manipulated five years ago will be completed perfectly. As a pillar field, the breakthrough and upgrade of mould industry will push upgrade of the whole industrial transformation in Hengli.
