An ASTM A351 CF3M strainer is an advanced inline fluid filtration component cast from extra-low carbon molybdenum-bearing 19Cr−10Ni−2Mo stainless steel to provide dependable particulate removal and elite pitting resistance in highly corrosive piping systems. The CF3M alloy matrix limits carbon to 0.03% to eliminate weld-zone intergranular corrosion, while the deliberate addition of molybdenum dramatically enhances structural resistance against chloride-induced pitting, crevice corrosion, and organic acids.
