Conventional Safety Relief Valve (PRV), Orifice Area D

Key Specifications / Features

China Conventional Safety Relief Valve (PRV) Manufacturer Shinjo Supplies Conventional Safety Relief Valve (PRV), Orifice Area D.

Detail Information

A Conventional Safety Relief Valve (PRV) uses a spring to keep the valve closed until the process nears the set pressure. The spring force pushes the valve’s disc against the nozzle seat keeping the valve closed. Process pressure exerts an opposing force on the disc. When the process pressure force on the disc overcomes the opposing spring force, the disc lifts and the valve begins to relieve pressure.

Performance
  • The allowable tolerance of the set pressure: ≤±3% of the set pressure
  • Over pressure: ≤±10% of the set pressure
  • Blowdown: ≤±10% of the set pressure
  • Tightness: the valve has good seat tightness conforms to API 527

I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Design and began my career in 2012 as a QC engineer in the workshop. I worked my way up through CAD engineering and eventually served as Chief Technical Engineer. I joined Shinjo Co in 2016 and have since focused on control valves and a wide range of challenging process conditions, supporting numerous overseas clients with demanding applications. Over the years, I have come to believe that quality and solution capability are what ultimately maximize value — for both the client and the company. We welcome complex and unconventional cases. I hope my industry experience can be of help to you.
