Key Parameters
When selecting an electric control valve, several main parameters must be considered to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with your system:
Nominal Diameter:
This parameter refers to the diameter of the valve’s inlet and outlet. It is crucial as it determines the valve's flow capacity. The nominal diameter should be chosen according to the specific flow requirements of your application.
Flow Coefficient (Cv):
The flow coefficient is a critical metric that indicates the valve's capacity to pass fluid. It is directly related to the nominal diameter. A higher flow coefficient corresponds to a greater flow capacity, allowing for more efficient fluid control.
Adjustable Range:
This is a significant performance indicator that shows the range of flow that the valve can regulate within its rated stroke. A wider adjustable range signifies the valve's capability to control a broader spectrum of flow rates, providing more versatile control.
Drive Mode:
The drive mode options include mechanical electric, smart, or digital electric actuators. The choice of drive mode should be based on specific application requirements and site conditions, such as the level of automation needed and the operational environment.
Power Supply Voltage:
Electric control valves typically operate on standard voltages such as AC220V, AC380V, or DC24V. It’s essential to select a voltage that is compatible with the power supply available at your installation site to ensure proper operation and safety.
Protection Grade:
