1. Plate gate valve is a kind of sliding valve that taking parallel flashboard as closing element. The closing part may be a single flashboard or a double flashboard with supporting mechanism in the middle.
2. Straight plate gatevalves can be divided into single flashboard plate gate valves with a diversion hole and ones without. The former is usually used for long-distance pipeline transport while the latter is mainly for entrance and exit within stations or pumps.
3. Designed with compact structure and small flow resistance, plate gate valves are easy to operate and suitable for natural gas, petroleum and chemical industries, for environmental protection, city pipeline transport, blow-down system and gas storage system as on-off equipment.
