ASTM A790/ASME B36.19 Seamless Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe is manufactured from UNS S32760 for demanding applications requiring exceptional mechanical strength and superior corrosion resistance. This 1" NPS pipe features SCH 80S dimensions, with an outside diameter of 33.4 mm, wall thickness of 4.55 mm, and fixed length of 5540 mm. Compared with conventional 316L stainless steel, UNS S32760 provides significantly higher strength and enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced corrosion. The seamless construction eliminates welded seams, ensuring excellent structural integrity and reliable performance in critical pressure services. Its SCH 80S heavy-wall design also provides increased pressure capability and additional corrosion allowance.
This super duplex stainless steel seamless pipe is designed for highly corrosive, high-pressure, and demanding operating environments. Typical applications include offshore oil and gas facilities, subsea and topside piping systems, chemical processing plants, desalination equipment, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, and sour service applications. UNS S32760 is particularly suitable for chloride-rich and aggressive media where high strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability are essential. It can also be selected for sour-service environments in accordance with applicable NACE MR0175 requirements, subject to project specifications and material qualification.
Exceptional Corrosion Resistance
UNS S32760 offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking in aggressive environments.
High Mechanical Strength
Super duplex construction provides substantially higher strength than standard austenitic grades such as 316L, allowing reliable performance under demanding pressure conditions.
Seamless Construction
The seamless manufacturing process eliminates welded seams, supporting consistent structural integrity and dependable service performance.
SCH 80S Heavy-Wall Design
The 4.55 mm wall thickness provides enhanced pressure capability and additional material allowance for corrosive service conditions.
Excellent Sour-Service Performance
The material is suitable for selected sour-service applications where compliance with NACE MR0175 and relevant project requirements is required.
