Cast Steel Gate Valves are designed and manufactured to achieve volatile organic compound (VOC) leakage of less than 100 ppm (parts per million). Extensive baseline laboratory testing, including both static and cycle testing, has been conducted to establish the critical design parameters required for low-emission performance. These parameters focus primarily on effective sealing at the stem packing and bonnet gasket areas. In addition, dedicated in-house testing procedures have been developed and are performed periodically to verify that standard product designs and manufacturing practices consistently ensure compliance. As a result, each Cast Steel Gate Valve is verified to meet a maximum VOC leakage limit of 100 ppm prior to shipment.
