PFA Lined Ball Valve, API 608, ASTM A216 WCB, DN20, PN16, RF

PFA Lined Ball Valve, API 608, ASTM A216 WCB, DN20, PN16, RF

Key Specifications / Features

This PFA-lined ball valve delivers corrosion-resistant flow control for aggressive chemical and pharmaceutical applications. With a 20 mm (3/4-inch, DN20) bore and PN16 (Class 150 LB) rating per API 608 standards, it provides reliable shutoff in moderate-pressure systems. The ASTM A216 WCB carbon steel body houses a PFA fluoropolymer lining that isolates process media from metal surfaces, preventing corrosion and contamination. RF flanged ends ensure secure, standardized connections to compatible piping.

Fluorine lined ball valves offer broad service flexibility and superior performance, providing bubble-tight shutoff, low maintenance, no-leak stem seals and the safety assurance of blowout-proof stem assembly. As shut-off and automated valves for corrosive and hazardous media. Where stainless steel, special metals, PVDF etc. are not sufficiently corrosion-resistant. As alternative to valves made of exotic special metals. Serve as reliable alternative to lined plug valves due to higher flowrates, much lower torques and minimum maintenance. FEP and PFA liners offer both long service life and superior corrosion resistance. The liners' inert non-stick properties make it ideal for highly viscous or high purity services.

Applications

Fully FEP & PFA lined ball valves can be used in a wide range of corrosive applications where long term sealing and reliability are needed. Below is a partially listing of applications where fully FEP & PFA lined ball valves have been successfully supplied.

» Hydrochloric Acid

» Phosphoric Acid

» Nitric Acid

» Sulfuric Acid

» Hydrofluoric Acid

» Acetic Acid

» Seawater

» Chlorine.

» Bromine

» Brine

Manual Operation

» The modular construction of ball valves allows for easy use of all types of actuation devices. Actuators can be mounted to the valves on-site, without removing them from the pipeline.

Actuation

» All ball valves are fitted with a hand wrench as standard for manual operation. A gearbox option is also available for valve sizes 6 in (150 mm) and above.

Liner Thickness

» Multiple T-slots be processed (depth 2.5-3mm) without destroying the standard wall thickness. Therefore, the wall thickness of our valve body will be 2.5-3mm higher than the standard wall thickness, The wall thickness of the ball valve body is based on PN25 as the design standard.

Key Features

» Among anti-corrosion materials, FEP and PFA have incomparable excellent proper-ties. Except molten alkali metals, elemental fluorine and aromatic hydrocarbons, it can withstand various concentrations of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, organic acids and strong oxidants, and corrosion from various organic solvents.

» It can replace expensive rare metals such as duplex steel, titanium, etc., and is used in many industries such as petroleum, chemicals, medicine, smelting, food, sewage, chemistry, etc.
