Our Polyurethane Full-Lined Slurry Knife Gate Valves are designed for bi-directional tight on-off service in abrasive slurry applications. The wear resistance of polyurethane is 8 times that of carbide, 7 times that of vulcanized rubber, and 3 times that of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. Polyurethane excels in wear resistance against solid particles, leveraging its elasticity and superior mechanical properties to absorb particle impact and minimize wear and tear.
We have combined polyurethane with valve technology in a new design that significantly extends valve life. The valve is fully lined with wear-resistant polyurethane, injected in a single mold, ensuring all media are enclosed within the polyurethane lining. This provides comprehensive wear protection and 100% positive shutoff of abrasive slurries, making the valves ideally suited for mining applications.
