Cast Floating Ball Valve Design supports the ball with two PTFE seats, one on the upstream side and the other on the downstream side of the ball. The upstream pressure pushes the ball, which compresses the downstream seat to completely shut off fluid flow. All cast floating ball valves manufactured by KOSEN feature reliable, high-quality castings and a fire-safe design certified according to BS 6755, API 607, and API 6FA. They meet all applicable ASME standards.
Floating ball valves manufactured by KOSEN are available in three types: One-Piece Uni-body, Two-Piece Split Body, and Three-Piece Bolted Body. These valves are designed and manufactured to the most updated international standards, including API 6D, ASME B16.34, BS 5351, or equivalents.
