Our three-way top-entry ball valves are available in both L-type and T-type configurations. The L-type (44) three-way ball valve is designed to switch the flow direction of the medium, connecting two perpendicular channels. The T-type (45) three-way ball valve is used for medium diversion, merging, and flow direction switching.
For standard three-way ball valves, we typically use a two-seat design. However, upon customer request, the company can also design and manufacture three-way ball valves with four seats.
Three-way ball valves are widely regarded as the most popular and economical type of multi-port valves. They are commonly used in applications with multiple sources of media or when it is necessary to divert media in two different directions. Depending on the flow direction, the three ports are typically configured as either one outlet with two inlets, or one inlet with two outlets.
