Stainless steel slip-on welding flanges are new types of flanges. Both slip-on welding flanges and welding neck flange are widely used in industries. Only one side of slip-on flanges needs to be welded. Pipes are inserted into inner bore of slip-on flanges directly without being welded. While both side of welding neck flanges need to be welded. For that, slip-on welding flanges are mainly used for low pressure pipe and welding neck flanges are mainly used for high pressure pipes. Use welding neck flanges on order to decrease concentration on seat.
