Technical Features of Fully Welded Ball Valves

Many people in relative industries are very familiar with ball valves, which originated in 1950s. And over the years, ball valves have become one of the best-selling varieties in the valve industry. The main reason is that ball valves are widely used in various industries. They are mainly responsible for the control and regulation of fluids, and can cut off or connect media.
Ball valves can be divided into many classes and the fully welded ball valve is one of them. And its technical features are as follows:
1. The valve body is welded integrally without external leakage.
2. The valve seat is composed of the PTFE sealing ring and the spring so that it has strong adaptability to changes of pressure and temperature, and will not produce any leakage within the usable range.
3. Anti-leakage structure of the valve stem. There is a PTFE self-sealing gasket and an O-ring at the bottom of the valve stem, and two O-rings and two PTFE gaskets near the top of the stem to ensure no leakage.
4. The material of the valve body is the same as that of the pipeline, so there will be no uneven stress, and no compression deformation will occur due to earthquakes and vehicles passing through the ground.
5. The valve body is light and easy to keep warm.
6. Direct buried ball valves can be directly buried underground. Instead of building large valve wells, only small shallow wells need to be built in the ground, saving construction costs and engineering time.
7. The length of the valve body and the height of valve stem can be adjusted according to the requirements for construction and design of the pipe.
8. The ball has high precision machining and is easy to operate.
9. There are two connection types: welding and flange connections.
10. Operation modes: handle and gear (vertical/horizontal).
11. Under the condition of normal operation of the valve, the warranty period is 20 years.
